Winona Volunteer Fire Department is just North of Tyler, Texas. We have 3 Stations in our district, we do have paid staff Monday through Friday at station 1 and station 3 8am to 5pm. We are looking for more VOLUNTEERS to join our family. We average about 95 calls a month. We cover about 126 miles in our district. We offer training, pay per call. The Holly Lake VFD is looking for firefighter recruits or experienced firefighters interested in community service. We are a rural volunteer fire department responsible for fire protection and emergency services in a 58 square mile area within eastern Wood County, Texas. The department will provide all necessary training and equipment to acceptable candidates. | Requirements: Applicants must be between 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or equivalent and in good physical condition. You must also have a good driving record and submit to a background check. A physical conditioning test may be required for acceptance.
