Do you have a desire to help your community? If so, we need you with our ever growing population in East Lampeter Township! We are a 100% volunteer organization. Our average annual call volume is 250+. We operate out of one firehouse with an engine, pumper tanker, tanker, two squads. Witmer offers free training to become a firefighter or Jr. firefighter. If getting dirty is not your thing, no problem! You can volunteer on the support side. We still need help cleaning apparatus, fundraising, public relations and day to day tasks. | Requirements: *FBI and child abuse clearances. *Live or work in East Lampeter Township or Upper Leacock *All training is provided.
