We are looking for motivated individuals who are looking for opportunities to give back to their local communities. Kingman Fire Department which is no longer functioning as a volunteer Dept. now but is now has been incorporated into the Mattawamkeag Fire Department so we need anyone from that area interested in learning about firefighting and or support or driver operators of the apparatus to come in and make out an application. Even though this is a pay-per-call service we do volunteer most of our time for training and public service within the communities. The Department has regular monthly business meetings on the first Sunday of each month and training on the third Sunday of each month starting at 9 am. Applications are available at the station or the town office. | Requirements: No prior knowledge of firefighting is needed, We will provide all the training needed to get you started. A valid driver's license is required to be able to start driver training, a CDL license is even better. Training for support staff is also handled in-house. All we ask is that you set aside a few hours a month for training and respond to calls when available. | Categories: EMT, Firefighter, Junior Members, Department Support, Community Education, Fundraising
